Just realised how I never really explained why I titled this blog "The Spam Wing".
Coz it alludes to my favourite show on telly, The West Wing. I used to think shows about politics and stuff are really dry and boring, but I tell you, The West Wing has me hooked. I swear its the best show on telly. The dry humour, the intelligent political discussions and PR implications in the west wing, the personal struggles - its all really inspiring and gives you an insight into the president's role and the role of the communications department of the White House. It can make me roll over with laughter, cry like a baby, cheer like there's no tomorrow for a bunch of fictional characters and inspire a new resolve within me. And did you know that one of the key characters in the show, Leo McGarry actually died in real life???? So sad..... he was so heroic in so many ways.... *sigh*
I HIGHLY recommend it to all my friends. Btw, I have seasons 1-4 - you're free to borrow it. I can be your walking commentary just to initiate you. And if you'd like to sponsor my owning seasons 5-7, you are more than welcome to! *wink*
