Ok, this I don't get - why do women's lingerie (esp. in Singapore) tend to veer more on slutty than anything else??? Like its like you're expected to pull out all the stops on sluttiness - pink fur *erhm*, leopard print *eek*, sheer materials in leopard prints at the weirdest parts *Eeew*........
Its like in most underwear shops, its either basics (and even these feature massively overpadded bras which is a mega *eeww*) or slutty. Very bi-polar, u can't find much stuff in between. Very very seldom, like Women's Secret which gets my thumbs up.
Just go through all the women's magazines this month (coz its Valentine's Day coming), and they'd feature like 60-150 lingerie pieces you might be interested to purchase. And there's not even 1 item in there I like or want to put money into.
Come on, being sexy isn't about being slutty. And you can be slutty without even vaguely looking sexy. You'd just look, well, skanky. *urgh*
Makes me wonder - do a lot Singaporean women really want to be that slutty?? Or is it simply because Singaporean men have no taste (coz they create the "demand")??

Just take a look at vintage lingerie. It is sexy and elegant without being slutty. I am not a prude, just a LADY who believes all women should be able to dress sexy without looking like a tramp.
